Day 1: Arrive in Cape Town

Your journey begins in Cape Town, one of the world’s most beautiful cities. After arriving at Cape Town International Airport, you’ll be met and transferred to The Hyde All‑Suite Hotel in Sea Point. This contemporary boutique hotel is ideally located near the Sea Point Promenade, offering elegant suites and a relaxing rooftop ambiance. Use the afternoon to settle in, stretch your legs with a walk along the promenade, or enjoy a drink on the rooftop deck while watching the sunset over the Atlantic. Dinner is at your leisure — perhaps opt for a relaxed meal nearby as you begin to acclimate and settle into rhythm.If your arrival time allows, you might take a gentle stroll to the nearby V&A Waterfront for a first taste of Cape Town’s harbourfront ambiance — the mix of sea breezes, city lights, and the buzz of shops and restaurants can be a great way to gently ease into your travel pace. Day 2: Table Mountain & City Tour

Day 3: Cape Peninsula & Penguin Beach

The whole group will be collected for a private Full Day Cape Peninsula Tour. Please bring your camera; we’re headed for Cape Point at the southwestern tip of the Cape Peninsula and the most spectacular views in the world. The drive there is just as inspiring, passing steep mountains, secluded coves, sweeping beaches, villages, and fishing communities. Our tour begins with a scenic drive along the Atlantic coast, passing through the cosmopolitan suburb of Sea Point and Camps Bay with its glorious views of the Twelve Apostles, part of the Table Mountain range. We’ll continue to the fishing village of Hout Bay, one of Cape Town’s best-kept secrets. There is an option to take a short boat trip to Duiker Island (for your own account and time permitting) to view the Cape Fur Seals, which inhabit the island. From here, we travel to the Cape Point Nature Reserve, comprising over 17,300 acres of indigenous fauna and flora. Here we can see a variety of wildlife, including baboons, Reebok, Cape Mountain zebra, bontebok and the elusive eland. The reserve is also one of the world’s largest breeding grounds for tortoises. Bird-watchers, too, will find many fine species to observe. The majestic coastline offers drama worthy of being called “Nature’s Greatest Show.” We’ll be able to see the union of the Atlantic and Indian Oceans (as per legend) and may even feel the brisk wind that is dubbed the “Cape Doctor” for its presumed curative powers. Following the coastline along False Bay, we’ll return to Cape Town by way of Simon’s Town, where we will visit the Penguin colony at Boulders Beach (entrance fee included) and Fish Hoek fishing village. We return to Cape Town, passing the University of Cape Town, Rhodes Memorial, and the Groote Schuur Hospital. Return to hotel around 5:00. Includes Chapmans Peak Drive (if open), entrance to Cape Point Nature Reserve, Cape of Good Hope, Penguin Colony at Boulders Beach (entrance fee included). Excludes: lunch, Seal Island boat cruise. Day 4: Robben Island & Waterfront Leisure

This morning, after breakfast, you will be collected and depart from Cape Town for an African Safari. After a mid-morning departure, we head up the N1 Highway, through the spectacular Hex River Valley and arrive at the Aquila Private Game Reserve. The bio-diverse habitat of the reserve ensures plenty of interest for the avid game viewer and birder. Giraffe, Blesbok, Black and Blue Wildebeest, Zebra, Springbok, Gemsbok Klipspringers, Duiker, Grey buck, Steenbok, Ostriches, Baboons Caracal, Foxes, Jackal, Leopard and 172 species of birds, including the Black Eagle are found on the reserve. An experienced Game Ranger will take you on a Game Drive. Lunch is enjoyed at the Lodge. Includes lunch and open vehicle game drive. Return to the hotel around 6:00 – 6:30. Dinner this evening is for your own account – restaurant recommendations on request. Included: Breakfast and Lunch, African Day Safari as stated. Excluded: Beverages and bar accounts, Dinner. Day 7: Leisure Day in Cape Town

On your final full day in Cape Town, you have the freedom to revisit favorite spots or explore new ones at your own pace. You could head to the beaches of Clifton Beach or Camps Bay for morning sun and sea, stroll through local markets, revisit museums, or even take a side‑trip into the surrounding countryside. Alternatively, you might simply enjoy the comforts of your hotel, reflect on the week’s experiences, or prepare for your next destination.This unstructured day gives you a chance to absorb Cape Town’s vibe fully — be it relaxed, contemplative, social, or adventurous — and depart with a sense of your own pace and choices. It’s a soft landing before the next leg of your journey.

Day 8: Fly to Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe

On your final full day in Cape Town, you have the freedom to revisit favorite spots or explore new ones at your own pace. You could head to the beaches of Clifton Beach or Camps Bay for morning sun and sea, stroll through local markets, revisit museums, or even take a side‑trip into the surrounding countryside. Day 9: Victoria Falls Tour & Zambezi Sunset Cruise

Early morning breakfast, followed by collection at 8:15 for your Guided Tour of the Falls (return transfers included). It’s a truly awe-inspiring experience – the sight, the sound, the smell; the humbling feeling that here indeed is Nature’s Supreme Masterpiece. No photograph can begin to depict reality and nothing prepares you for your first sight. The Victoria Falls – now in its 150 millionth fantastic year – reaches its zenith in about May each year. This tour is conducted in the morning and afternoon. En route, clients may be taken past the ‘Big Tree’ where they may stop and take photos. Clients will be accompanied through the Rainforest by one of our qualified guides, who will give a brief history of the Falls themselves and details of the flora, fauna, bird & wildlife and other points of interest. Guides are also happy to assist clients with photographs while visiting these most spectacular waterfalls. Raincoats are provided when needed.Return to the lodge around 10:00 for the rest of the day at your leisure. High Tea and Dinner at the lodge are included today (beverages for your own account). Day 10: Optional Adventures in Victoria Falls

A full day for you to take in any number of activities in Victoria Falls. Pre-booking of optional activities is recommended to avoid disappointment due to non-availability in the peak season (June – October).Dinner at The Boma this evening (beverages for your own account) – return transfers are included. Included: Breakfast, Dinner at The Boma (with Transfers) – buffet dinner (excluding beverages). Expert Tips: September to November marks the end of the dry season when the falls are at their lowest level. This is excellent for visibility from the Zimbabwe side, although the Zambian side may be nearly dry. It’s also peak white-water rafting season and the best time for Livingstone Island and Devil’s Pool. Days are warm to hot (30–40°C), and game viewing is excellent in nearby Chobe.Optional activities include: Helicopter Flights, White Water Rafting, Bunji Jump, Rhino Tracking, Game Drives, Guided Walks, Village Tour, Bicycle Tours, Shopping/Market Tours, Horse Riding, and Fishing.

Day 11: Transfer to Chobe / Departure

Today, after breakfast and checkout formalities, you will be collected and transferred across the border to Kasane, Botswana. Your driver will assist with border crossing and immigration formalities. You will be dropped off at Kasane Airport, where you will change vehicles. A representative from Chobe Elephant Camp will take you through to the lodge. A later lunch/afternoon snack is available after check-in formalities and before an afternoon boat cruise.Included: Breakfast, Cross-border road transfer, Late lunch/afternoon snack on arrival, Boat Cruise, Dinner, Local beverages and drinks, Limited laundry, Okavango Air Rescue. Day 12: Game Drive and Boat Cruise

Day 13: Transfer to Kasane / Departure

An early morning game drive before returning to the lodge for breakfast. After check-out formalities, you are transferred to Kasane Airport for your onward flight to Johannesburg and your return flight home. Airlink flight 4Z307 departs at 2:10 and arrives at 4:00 – check-in is 2 hours prior. Included: Breakfast, Game Drive, Airport Transfer, Internal economy class flight as stated.
